Quickstart

Create an account, import a price book, and run one job from request to paid invoice.

This walks one job through the whole system. It takes about twenty minutes and leaves you with a real client, a real quote and a real invoice, all of which you can delete afterwards.

1. Create the account

Sign up, name the business, and pick your trade. The trade you choose preloads a price book, job types and checklists, all of which are yours to edit or throw away.

2. Import clients

Settings → Clients → Import takes a CSV. The only required column is a name; everything else is optional and can be filled in later.

A client can hold many properties. If you serve a property manager with fourteen buildings, that is one client and fourteen properties, not fourteen clients.

3. Set up the price book

Settings → Offerings. Each offering carries a name, a unit, a cost and a price, and optionally a default duration. Quotes and invoices are built by picking offerings, which is what keeps pricing consistent between techs.

4. Create a request

Requests → New. Or forward an email to your account's intake address and watch it arrive on its own. The message is parsed into a contact, a property and a requested window.

5. Quote it

Open the request and choose Quote. Add offerings, set any optional items, and send. The client gets a link, not an attachment. When they approve and sign, the quote becomes a job.

6. Schedule and work it

The job appears on the schedule as an unscheduled visit. Drag it onto a crew and a day. On the phone, the assigned tech sees the visit, its checklist and the property history, and can clock in against it.

7. Invoice and get paid

Close the visit. Hours from the clock and any parts consumed are already on the draft invoice. Send it, and the client pays by card or ACH on the same link.
